About me
Hi, I'm Louis, I'm 20 and I'm from Newcastle Upon Tyne. I got my first camera at 11. The Sony Cyber-shot G. I took it pretty much everywhere I went, from Disney Land Florida to the bustling streets of New York City.

When I was 13, I bought my first DSLR, the Canon 750D. Photos taken on this camera account for the majority on the website. Over the years I've gone from using from fully automatic mode, to now only shooting in manual.

Over the past few years I have been shooting in 35mm film, with the Olympus OM10 or a number of different point and shoots. Shooting with film is a whole different experience, whether it's the suspense of waiting a week to see the photos you just took or the way that you have to pull a lever to take another photo.

Around 4 years ago I was treated with the Adobe Suite, for which I use Lightroom to edit my photos. One day I decided to open Photoshop, a software I had always wanted to learn how to use but always dreaded to actually get into it and played around with some photos and fonts. Well, here we are 4 years later and I am currently studying graphic design at Northumbria University, where I use Photoshop almost everyday, along with: Premier Pro, After Effects, InDesign and Illustrator.

I have recently made this website to show my work, and what I like to do in my spare time, in a more professional way.
